Odiot : Antique Vermeil Sterling Silver Coffee Pot - Ivory Handle - Japonisme Decor C.1900

Sublime and rare Coffee Pot called "Marabout" from the 1900 period in Vermeil with Japonisme decor. Baluster-shaped body with a flat bottom with exceptional chased decoration and applied plants with flowers and butterflies ). Certain elements in applique present a vermeil "rosé" thus reinforcing the elegance, the delicacy and the refinement to this piece embellished with an Ivory side handle.
Very finely crafted from the highest quality silver, it is puched with the Minerve 1st Standard Hallmark (.950), mark of the Maison d'Orfèvrerie ODIOT PREVOST & Cie used between 1894 and 1906, with the signature in full "Mon ODIOT", and the piece is also numbered. This exceptional and rare coffee pot is in excellent condition with just light signs of use to note, and the vermeil is well preserved. For the finest of tables....
