Jean LESQUIBE is a Basque artist who was a painter but also a master glassmaker. He was born in 1910 and died in 1995.
He created stained glass windows for several churches in the Basque Country.
The treatment of this beautiful and very typical painting is treated in a cubizing way.
The material is rich, the colors in reduced number give strength to this picture.
It is in its juice, in excellent condition and presented in its original frame in gilded and lacquered wood.
