Beautiful Portrait Of Three Quarters Of The King Of France Louis XVI (1754-1793)
The King wears here his coronation costume composed of his blue coat lined with hermine.
The sovereign’s right hand is placed on the scepter while the so-called Charlemagne’s sword is along his left thigh. The Golden Fleece hangs on his breastplate.
This oil on canvas mounted on a panel is in very good condition.
It is sold with its 18th century frame.
