Pendulum Restoration Gilt Bronze Allegory Music Woman Musician Flute 19th
Gilt bronze clock (with 2 patinas) presenting the Allegory of Music with a couple of characters (a man playing the pan flute and a woman draped in the antique style) holding a floral garland above the enameled dial with figures Roman, surmounted by an amphora decorated with cherubs, chiselled base of musicians and lyres, from the 19th century Restoration period. This clock is in good condition and is of high quality. The wire movement works (has been overhauled). We have the pendulum but not the key. A note: missing the instrument held by the woman (a lyre?), the garland moves slightly, tiny micro-chips on the dial (at the level of the winding holes), some wear on the gilding, wear of time, see photos . Diameter: dial 10 cm Dimensions: 36.5 cm x 12 cm Height: 48.5 cm Reference: A10 162 All the photos are on: www.antiques-delaval.com
