Large zoomorphic vase in Quimper earthenware signed André HORELLOU (1943-2011) for the KERALUC workshop around 1960-70 with a rich polychrome and incised decoration inscribed in reserves. Perfect condition, dimensions 32 cm high X 29 cm wide X 13 cm deep. (Note another interesting piece by the artist with a similar decor and from the same provenance, to be seen in the meeting on the last photos). André HORELLOU (1943-2011) studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Quimper under the direction of Jos LE CORRE, the painter André HORELLOU joined Keraluc in 1966. He designed a type of decor that was his own. He left Keraluc around 1987 to devote himself to painting in his good city of Douarnenez.
