Uncommon: "BROADSWORD" sword, Scottish Highlander officer, model 1828, 19th century. Complete with its nickel-plated metal sheath with the 2 bracelets for the bails and locking screws, ending with a button snap. Flat blade with 2 cutting edges 80 cm in length, carrying 2 central median gutters (37 cm long) entirely engraved on both sides, see details in the photos. Blade heel with engraved ricasso and part included, usual on English edged weapons. Enveloping steel guard, pierced with heart motifs and red leather interior trim on the outside, with floche under the spherical pommel, partly covering the guard. Filigree Leather Rocket.
