Green marble base

Good general condition: wear of time to the patina, some chips on the marble and broken saber

JL Gregoire is a sculptor French, son of a carver, he was a student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He is the author of many works of an academic nature, some of which were published by the Susse foundry. He exhibited at the Salon from 1867 to 1890.
