Gothic Chest With Folds Of Towels XVth
Superb late 15th century gothic chest in blond mesh oak, in its "attic" patina. The 8 panels are in the "folds-of-napkin" or "parchment" pattern. The top is probably later but at least 17th; the lid hinges are not old; the mechanism of the lock has disappeared, remains a cut iron plate. Very good condition considering its age, no insect holes. Height 84 cm / Tray 162 x 74 cm
