Small Chest Nineteenth Style
Small chest, Swiss work (regions of Brienz, Interlaken or Bern) in the style called "Black Forest", second half 19th. This chest is in imitation of logs arranged and bound by two ropes; it is embellished with a little tapestry headband. Width 65 / Depth 34.5 / Height 45.5 cm. Good used condition and original patina. Original object, perfect in front of a cottage fireplace, to put the little kindling. (The white reflections on the photos are due to the lighting spots for the photo).
