Late 17th century for embroidery 19th century for velvet mounting Italy Rare Table rug in green-yellow cut silk velvet (19th century) with wide bands and festoons of silk embroidery in Buratto or needle painting on brown linen voile , Italy late 17th or early 18th century. Highly polychrome satin stitch embroidery, underlined with cream silk cording applied to the remarkable work! Matching crenellated edges. 19th century greenish cotton sateen lining. Exceptional piece in excellent condition despite some repairs in the brown linen net. Dimensions: 200cm x 119cm.
