Artisanal Apron Of The Freemasons - Late Eighteenth Century
Master's apron in embroidered white silk, trimmed in blue silk. Resting on the mosaic pavement between a rough stone and a cubic stone with points, the central motif is composed of the square and the compass intertwined as well as two branches of acacia from which are suspended a mallet and a trowel. Between the ternary sun and the moon, the flaming star with the letter G is surrounded by the ternary SFB (Wisdom, Strength, Beauty).
