This beautiful model with niche and bouquets of flowers in vases in the shape of trees of life, has a highly ornate decoration.
Many trees of life, medallions, palms, bouquets of flowers, decorate the decor and also embellish the border.
The whole is perfect in its composition and the greatest care has therefore been taken to the very beautiful border.
These large and heavy prayer-shaped carpets are never intended for prayer but for floor and wall decoration in Iranian homes, giving a vision of happiness, joy and paradise on earth.
The general condition is perfect, there is no pile reduction, the fine kork wool used is of first quality, very good edges and fringes.
The colors are fresh, soft and delicate. The deep shades, burgundy, blue, green, old pink, red ...... go perfectly with ivory.

During the Persian Renaissance, Kashan was the center of carpet production of legendary splendour.
Carpets with fine weaving, of a very great richness of composition, were knotted by the royal factory of the Shah Abbas.
They have become the centerpieces of museums and private collections.
Craftsmanship was interrupted in Kashan between the invasion of the Afghans (1722) and the end of the 19th century.
The revival of rug production began with rugs that are distinguished by the superior quality of the wool giving an extremely velvety appearance.
These examples are called Kashan Motashemi, named after the most famous master weaver of the late 19th century.
The decorations are varied and offer meticulous craftsmanship: hunting scenes, figures inspired by Persian mythology, birds in a plant decor, trees of life.
Thanks to the superior quality of the wool, their tight knotting, the beauty of their natural colors and their designs, the Kashan took their place among the best Persian rugs.
