Installed in 1925 at 115, rue Bolivar in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, he married on September 2, 1929 Blanche Leyris in Gan (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), then in second marriage, on October 1, 1949, Reine Marguerite Perdu in Saint-Jean-aux -Bois3 where it will live in a second time. Particularly attached to the department of Oise at the time, he was a member (he would be vice-president) of the Society for the Protection of the Compiègne Forest. His landscape painting offers privileged views of villages in the Oise (Saint-Jean-aux-Bois6, Morienval, Croutoy, Villeneuve-sur-Verberie), but also in Brittany (Perros-Guirec, Guilvinec, ports of Pays Bigouden ), Normandy (Honfleur) or the Vosges. The features of Edmond Daynes are restored to us in a portrait painted by Madeleine Baillat kept by the Antoine Vivenel Museum in Compiègne.
