This sumptuous gold stencil on beautiful vellum paper, signed Benito, comes from the prestigious and luxurious advertising brochure for Max Furs "The Last Persian Letter", Paris, Draeger, sd (ca 1920).
This brochure, laid out by Michel Zamacois, was accompanied by 12 drawings executed in the Persian style by Eduardo Benito. "One of the finest examples of Draeger's work (...) twelve superb lithographs by Benito, on strong paper, finely enhanced with gold and stenciled colors, represent models of Persian inspiration, in the pure style twenties".
