Saint Gilles Croix de Vie en Vendée by Jules RIBEAUCOURT (1866-1932) oil on panel signed lower left and located on the back format with the frame 51cm x43cm....Jules RIBEAUCOURT born April 2, 1866 in Maubeuge (Nord), died on August 28, 1932 in Petit-Fort-Philippe. Painter of landscapes, landscapes of water, he was a pupil of Julien Gagliardini. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon of French Artists, of which he became a member in 1900, then at the Salon des Indépendants, from 1907. He obtained a silver medal in 1932.
