A rare yerracotta relief ceiling tile decorated with a soldier wearing a helmet. These grotesque figures are linked to old mythical French stories. Origin: France. Date: 15. century. circa 1400 - 1450. Dimensions: 18.5 cm x 13.2 cm x 2.4 cm Condition: good, no cracks or repairs. Beautiful old age patina, some old age wear. See pictures.
