Painter Théo TOBIASSE 1927/2012 French and Israeli born in Jaffa Palestine and died in Cagnes s / mer 06. After winning the prize for young Mediterranean painting in 1961 he then devoted himself entirely to art with works imbued with the exile, fof the mother woman and reminiscences of childhood. Tobiasse's work is inspired by the Judaism of his childhood, traditional Jewish themes such as lovers, the violinist, the acrobats.
