Biedermeier Sofa, Walnut, Teddy Fabric, Vienna, Austria Circa 1825
Walnut Veneer and solid walnut.Two full fluted columns in beech with blackened capitals and bases. Newly upholstered in black teddy fabric and double piping, also covered on the back and freely placeable in the room. Restored and polished by hand with shellac. Dimensions: L 175cm x H 90 cm x Seat H 50 cm x D 72 cm
