Angèle Emile Tabary was born on June 10, 1857 in Chaumont-en-Vexin (Oise). Painter was a student of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He married in Beauvais on July 30, 1884. Charles Herbert, photographer, former student of the School of Fine Arts, was his witness. It was undoubtedly shortly after that Tabary took over from him in the photography studio located on rue Saint-Pierre, opposite the famous gothic St.Peter’s cathedral (Beauvais). In 1901, Daniel Richard worked at this address after him.
