Pupil of Jean Léon Gérôme, Alfred Louis Daguet was mainly known for his embossed copper objects, often decorated with cabochons. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, collaborated with Marcel Bing's Art Nouveau gallery and counted Sarah Bernhardt among his clients.
