Confident also called Siamese, two-seater S-shaped bench made up of 2 side-by-side and inverted armchairs.
Appeared in the 19th century during the Napoleon III era, this seat allows two people seated in opposite directions to talk to each other discreetly in a low voice.
Excellent condition because completely redone a few years ago in traditional style (webbing, springs and horsehair) and covered with a reissue of old fabric of good quality, padded finish with piping identical to the original.
