Charming hand-painted porcelain box adorned with a gallant scene on the lid. Midnight blue background with fine gold decoration. Brass strapping. Below, false marks of Sèvres because it is indicated 1840 but this signature was only used from 1845! It is most certainly a production by Samson at the end of the 19th century.
