Beautiful secretary in mahogany and marquetry. It opens on the front with a drawer, a flap and two doors. The flap discovers four small drawers and niches, leather top edged with small iron gilding. Important marquetry work: frieze of stylized circles, diamonds, nets and Greek. Ornamentation of finely chiseled gilded bronzes: - Pulling rings with laurel leaves and lictor's bundles. - Amounts with laurel falls and finials. - Keyholes with tied ribbon, pearls, leather and bay leaves. - Feet ringed with acanthus, clogs. Fluted rounded uprights, tapered legs, mahogany slots. Violet brocatelle marble top from the Jura with ears and reverse cavetto. High-quality furniture, similar to the productions of Christian Krass.
