Polychrome wood bas-relief, 19th century
Set on a rectangular panel, this bas-relief reproduces Michelangelo's Pieta adding color. Sat and wearing a golden tunic and a blue coat, the Virgin holds the body of dead Christ on her knees.
Very good condition, some tiny lacks of color, one missing finger on Christ's right hand, one missing finger on Virgin's left hand (see pictures). A hanging ring on the back.
