"Bronze And Marble Pedestal Table, 19th Century"

Breccia marble and bronze pedestal table. The oval tray is adorned on the edge with a frieze of foliated interlacing in gilded bronze on a midnight blue background, animated by masks as connecting dice. It rests on four slender feet decorated with foliage on a blue background, and finished in a cloven hoof. The feet are joined by a gilt bronze spacer, decorated with pearls and a central medallion with laurel wreath and pinecone. French work from the second part of the 19th century.
