"Nurnberg 15th cty workshops heavy and deep Brass Alms Basin, wiyh an historiated thema "the Original Sin", with Adam and Eve in paradise garden each side of Knowledge tree. A snake symbolize devil is surrounded around the tree.

Condition: normal wear and tear in relation to its age (see photos), but no damage to read the plate
A suspension hole was plugged by a tin weld.
Very nice patina, specially on yhe back of the basin

This basin is one of the oldest (15th cty) we can find in this thema collection
