"Pair Of Gilt Bronze Andirons With Musicians"
Pair of gilt bronze andirons with finely chiseled mercury representing a gallant scene from the 18th century. The model on the right representing a courtesan seated on a rocky background, the left representing a musician playing the serenade. The costumes and faces are very well detailed. The mercury gilding in perfect condition alternating with the mast of the rocky setting. Louis XV style, 19th century.
