Very pretty miniature painted in blue white grisaille on ivory executed with talent by Lucienne FRISON-FABRICE after a work by Jean Guillaume MOITTE (1746-1810).
It is signed lower right: L. Frison Fabrice after MOITTE.
This miniature is in good condition, well framed, note two small slits on each side which in my opinion are original and made by the artist to lengthen the work on the base part (see photos).
Lucienne FRISON-FABRICE born 1889 is a listed miniaturist artist, active in the first part of the 20th century.
