Beautiful old painting from the art deco period, oil on canvas signed at the top right by the painter José Palmeiro, dated 1935 representing a seated child holding a bouquet of poppies in her arms. Charming composition with a post-impressionist touch, used by the artist when he came to Montparnasse in the 1930s. In its molded/gilded wooden frame, a second painting from the same provenance is for sale in our other advertisements. All in good condition, see photos.
