BIRCKLE, 18th century 1.15 m wide for this small and magnificent chest of drawers stamped by Jacques Bircklé 1734 -1803 received master on July 30, 1764 - Ateliers rue de Charenton then rue de St-Nicolas in Paris - worked in particular for Queen Marie Antoinette, the Duke of Orléans… Curved chest of drawers on all sides with 4 drawers, in kingwood and rosewood veneer – original bronzes, locks, key and marble – “Rouge Royal” marble bec de corbin – completely restored buffer varnish – Stamp of J. Bircklé on the front right upright and mark “JME” of Jurande (Community of Joiners Cabinetmakers 1751) – Very good condition – Width 1.15 m – Depth 0.56 m – Height 0.84 m
