"Villeroy And Boch Soup Tureen"
We present for sale this extraordinary and spectacular tureen with its display tray in earthenware from Villeroy and Boch and also marked GESCHUTZT. All of the earthenware decorations are in relief. The body of the tureen is all in relief (in the form of architecture on which climbing vines unfold). The sockets are also in relief. The perimeter of the display is decorated outside with the relief of vine leaves and black grapes. On the body of the tureen are represented two scenes, on one side a music scene and on the other side a somewhat humorous feasting scene with Emperor William II 1888/1914 with his large mustaches. Perfect state of conservation at the end of the 19th century, spectacular size. (E23)
