XXTH CERAMIC ARTS OF FIRE GRES BRUTALIST NATURALIST POTTERY STONEWARE LOUL COMBRES Small vase in ceramic, sandstone, partially enamelled and glazed, decorated with colored material and playing on the material/smooth, enamelled/raw, glazed/matt contrasts. Very good condition (see descriptive photos). Signature incised under the base. Weight: 303 grams. Loul Combres, born in 1937, studied at the School of Fine Arts in Nîmes in 1955/56. He worked successively in Faubies (Lozère/1960), in Narbonne at the Pesquis workshop (1964-1975), then in Mende in the Mejantel workshop (1975-2000) and finally in Prades-le-lez.
