René Gruau, pseudonym of Renato Zavagli-Ricciardelli delle Caminate, born February 4, 1909 in Rimini (Italy), and died March 31, 2004 in Rome (Italy), was a French illustrator, poster designer and painter -Italian renowned for his illustrations for fashion and advertising.

Oil on canvas, bouquet of flowers. Old work of Gruau around 1930/1940. The painting is signed lower right Gruau and also the famous star.
It has just been restored and cleaned.
