Pair of Vietnamese bamboo panels carved then engraved with a sentence or a saying called sentences, these calligraphic characters have been engraved, lacquered and then gilded.
on the left of the left panel is a character and a seal also engraved.
these panels were purchased directly from Thananh art service in Saigon by the grandfather of the former owners who was stationed in Indochina around 1930, whose Vietnamese and Korean paintings we will be selling next week.
Good condition except for a lack of half circles behind.
