This workshop was founded in 1950 by Claire and René Batigne. The main turner in this workshop was Blaise Aïelo, assisted by Albert Thiry, Claude Verlinde and François Natoli. Until 1966 this workshop called on many artists such as Amédée Ozenfant, Prince Rodolphe de Faucigny Lucinge, Irving Hoffmann, Bemelmans, Nicolas de Staël and Jacques Prévert.
