The Three Graces In Art Deco Period Tutu
Watercolor (73x53cm) representing three ballet dancers. This design recalls the classic theme of the Three Graces, known in Greek Antiquity as the goddesses of Charm, Beauty and Creativity. The harmonious composition of the whole makes it possible to highlight the particularities of each one. Although their tutu, face and points are aligned, the position of the bodies and the gestures are different. The shadows in the background give us the impression that they are arranged in front of a mirror. Their elegance and beauty shine through in the choice of soft colors and in the gouache highlights. The artist's signature is present in the lower right part but could not be deciphered. The original frame has been restored in our workshop. Delivery possible, not included in the price.
