Pair Of Lions With Snake Era Restauration 1820

Sublime pair of patinated bronze sculptures decorated with two magnificent finely carved lions, one leg of the animal is wrapped by a snake in gilded bronze. It rests on a molded base also in patinated bronze, decorated with a chiseled frieze of ovals and on the sides with a chiseled decoration in acanthus leaf.

Formerly it was an element that made up a chimney bar and transformed for sculptures to be placed, for example on a desk in order to admire them more closely because it deserves all this attention given their high quality of manufacture.
