""asso Di Coppe" Walnut Table From Second Half Of The 16th Century, Central Italy."
Important "asso di coppe" table from the second half of the 16th century, entirely in solid walnut. This type of table called "ace of cups" is considered of exceptional importance due to its rarity and beauty, and clear examples of the taste in vogue in central Italy during the XV-XVI centuries. The piece of furniture is very well preserved and with all its coeval parts, but probably during the nineteenth century, the two drawers under the top were added to the table, which were not originally foreseen.
The table has its first patina, so it may be necessary to carry out a good waxing job, as well as a routine check to verify the total stability of the components.
The measurements of the table are: 180cm long x 82cm wide and 83cm high.
It is possible to view the table in person in our antiques gallery located in Foligno (PG), Piazza Ettore Giacomini, 42.
We enclose a regular certificate of authenticity with the sale.
