Superb and important marble sculpture representing a panther attacked by a snake. Gray white veined marble for the panther and green for the snake. Molded oval base. Very beautiful representation of the beast with a powerful and well drawn musculature The eyes of the panther and the snake are in sulphide glass. Anonymous work but of very good quality.
