Handled servant, butterfly shape with an openwork handle. The shape is organic in the Art Nouveau style. The decor of holly and large colorful flowers is surrounded by a wide gold band, all hand painted. The rear bottom is marked "porcelain de LIMOGES" with intertwined EM for Emile MADESCLAIRE. The porcelain factory had been created in 1920 by this one and the creations oscillate between the Art Nouveau and Art Deco style. The factory was taken over, in 1934, by the Establishments Boyer and Cie. The servant is in good condition (very light wear trace of use of the gilding on the relief).
