Young Boy In Foot By Vike Vd Bergh
Young full-length boy posing in front of a pretty blue curtain by VIKE VD BERGH. Born June 18, 1876 in Maline. Died October 2, 1953 in Limoges. A student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mechelen in 1890, he entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1898 in the studio of Léon Bonnat. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, but also in Turin, Calais, Mechelen. From 1889 to 1907, he was professor of perspective at the Delécluze workshop in Paris, he also taught at the Louvre school in 1908. Mlines museums.
