René Lalique goblet in glass paste. Decor representing three water lilies. René Jules Lalique was born on April 6, 1860 in AY in the Marne and died on May 1, 1945. He was a master glassmaker, jeweler, and French jeweler. He became famous for his astonishing creations of jewellery, then of perfume bottles, vases, candlesticks, clocks and at the end of his life of car radiator caps. The business he founded is still running.
