In patinated bronze and bronze gilded with mercury, high quality set. Interesting and magnificent clock on the theme of maritime trade with the figure of a Nereids. The daughter of Ocean, the sea goddess Thetis. Represented standing leaning on a marine anchor next to a terrestrial globe carried by a cloud of clouds and a ship's hull decorated with the caduceus of Hermes. Large bas-relief on maritime trade with the figure of the god Hermes.

Bronze dial underlined by an outline of flowers adorned with corners and a chiseled frieze of fish-tailed swans carrying a basket.

Original mechanism without modification, suspension with silk thread, ringing of hours and half-hours on an old bell.
