Very Beautiful Paper Mache Sawing Box, Paris Empire Period Circa 1800
Very rare and beautiful Empire period paper mache sawing box. On the lid a left of an interior. The box has many compartments and secret pockets. In the lid there is a standing mirror and in the middle there is a pincushion. The Empire style decor, embossed on the outside, is leaf gilded and even polished.
