Large Ottoman basin, chiseled brass with convex base and slightly inclined wall, hemmed edge, with a multitude of decorations chiseled by hand with chisel, repoussé and classic engraving, all in very good condition.

This frieze is followed by a decoration of five rondos of a beautiful calligraphy in thuluth, separated by small rosettes and flowers in mandorlas. the whole of the rest of the body covered with epigraphic friezes, interlacing of plants, flowers.
This style of decor is similar to those found in all the rooms, regions of the Middle East, often former regions of the Ottoman Empire, regions that hosted a population of Armenian origin very talented in the work of the brassware.
