Still Life with Asian Vase and Objects by Ernst Czernotzky (* 1869 in Brno; † 1939 in Vienna).

Czernotzky was an Austrian still life painter of Czech ancestry. He began his private painting lessons in Brno with Prof. Emil Pirchan. After moving to Vienna in 1902 he continued his studies at the private painting school of David Kohn (1861-1922) and Anton Hlavaček (1842-1926).

He undertook several study trips to Germany, Belgium, France, Holland, Denmark and Italy. Since 1911 he was a member of the Austrian Artists' Union ("Österreichischer Künstlerbund"). Czernotzky devoted himself almost exclusively to still life painting.
