Couty Jean Frédéric (1829-1904) was a French painter born on January 1st 1829 in Issoudun, he was the son of Antoine Couty (merchant) and Elisabeth Sophie Goutasson. Author of still lifes and landscapes, he was a student of Billoux and exhibited in Paris between 1864 and 1867.
