Large 17th century left-handed dagger, produced at the end of the 18th century and beginning of the 19th century. Triangular blade with hollow sides. No visible hallmark. Iron mount with inverted conical and fluted pommel with rivet button. Rope filigree rocket. Large forward curved crescent moon cruise with ball ends. Leather sheath with 2 brass-copper fittings. Clevis with loop and stud ending in acorn. Can be with a possible use in venerie.??? Total length with scabbard: 70.5 cm Length without scabbard: 66 cm Blade length: 48.5 cm Blade width at heel: 1.7 cm Ball to ball cruising length: 20 cm.
