Splendid vermeil chalice. EMPIRE period. punch said to the second rooster. 1809-1819 PARIS. silver 1st title 950/1000. Vermeil in superb condition (the gilding under the Empire was of exceptional quality.) Decor with ears of wheat and vine leaves. No goldsmith's mark. A later silver paten is added (Minerva's head hallmark). Height: 32 cm Good condition. Chalice weight without paten: 767 gr.
