Afghan or Bukhara straight dagger, called Kard, with scabbard
Afghanistan 18th century
Damascus steel, marine ivory, gold. Wood and velvet
Length of the knife Total length of the knife : 37 ; Blade length : 26 cm
Full forge, with a straight damascus blade, with a wide back edge.
The handle has four marine ivory plates, riveted and decorated with silver flowers. The top is provided with a spur. Remains of gold damascene.
The wooden scabbard is covered with blue velvet, and fitted with an iron bolt.
